It All Began With Chasing My Inner Spark (Superpower)
I spent a notable part of my life feeling unfulfilled--existing in life instead of living it. I became sick and tired of being sick and tired and made the decision to begin the journey of self-discovery. Through my process, I discovered who I am, created a vision, and started living an authentic and fulfilling life. I have taken my pain and turned it into purpose.
AND I AM HERE TO DO THE SAME FOR YOU!

hey there!
I'm Rhaea Goff, founder of A Rhaea Hope. I hold a bachelor's degree in Sociology from Virginia State University and a master's degree in Social Work from Norfolk State University. I have a clinical social work license in Virginia, South Carolina, and Maryland.
My superpower is helping women live authentic, fulfilling lives. I support women in becoming the best versions of themselves as they navigate life’s ever-changing parts, so they can live a life aligned with their desires and filled with joy and peace.
For the past 20-plus years, I have worked in various mental health and human service sectors. Throughout my tenure, I have been privileged to advocate for the disenfranchised by facilitating substance abuse education classes and parenting groups, providing outpatient therapy and mental health services in the school setting, and more.
I BELIEVE IN:
God, straight talk, and a customized approach because you don’t have to shrink, settle, or compromise who you are to live a life aligned with your truest desires.
YOU CAN FIND ME:
You’ll find me exploring a new city, playing games, trying something new with family and friends, or going for a walk and noticing the possibilities in the world.
YOU'LL OFTEN HEAR SAY:
We often make things harder than they need to be. Yes, it's hard, but it's also simple.

i am human, just like you!
Being a therapist doesn’t mean I’m perfect or that I have it all together. I’m human with gifts, and I chose to deepen and refine those gifts through training and certifications so I could support others more intentionally.
Some days, I use my tools. Other days, I want to throw them straight into the Potomac River, and eventually, I have to go back and get them lol. That’s life. Growth isn’t linear, and authenticity doesn’t mean getting it right all the time.
What I have done is dig deep, get to know myself, and choose to navigate life in a way that feels honest, aligned, and fulfilling to me. I’ve done the work, and I continue to do it. And I believe that you can do the same.
